Review: Rebecca Minkoff Chevron Quilted Love Bag
I get a ton of questions each time I wear this bag. It sort of mimics the medium Saint Laurent Lou Lou
bag minus the large “YSL” logo and the hefty price tag. I originally saw the bag on the Shop Bop website,
but buyer’s remorse made me miss the opportunity. Lately, my purchases have been well thought out,
so if I see something once, and I cannot get it out of my head, the price is right and within my
budget…plus justify my cost per wear, then it’s usually a “go” for me. If you are a true fashionista, then
you will know that high end luxury goods don’t necessarily mean “fashion”. Do not get me wrong, I love
a lot of them, but FASHION IS NOT A LUXURY!!! And I repeat! FASHION IS NOT A LUXURY!!! Fashion is
about being creative and having fun…not breaking the bank and becoming broke because of it.
The Rebecca Minkoff MAB Jumbo quilt bag is sold out everywhere, but I have included a few bags below
that a very similar. Also, check out the top five reasons this bag works for me and why I love it.
1. Cost friendly-nowadays the price tag on a bag can be very steep, but that was not the case here.
2. Multiple ways to wear, crossbody, double strap, single strap
3. Several pockets to keep items secure
4. Bag does not weigh you down. On a workday or shopping day, this bag does not feel weighed
down. I normally carry an iPad mini, car keys, makeup pouchette, iPhone XS, Wet Ones pack,
mini hand sanitizer spray, face mask, and gloves
5. No large labels, very nice understated bag
